For ManjaLink Online or HUGO Mobility App user, effective from 8th of January 2018, you can now tap your card on the
bus card validator machine
to receive the auto Travel Credit (TCr) transfer. Skip the need to visit the
ManjaLink self-service Terminal
to update your TCr.

We hope this new feature brings in more convenience to you.

1. How soon is my TCr transferred to my ManjaLink Account when I tap my ManjaLink Card on the
bus card validator machine
?
It will take 3 hours up to the next day. All transaction in the bus is done offline. Customers can be assured that TCr transfer will be recorded and periodically downloaded from the ManjaLink Server and subject to internet connection availability inside the bus.
2. How is the process of redeeming my ManjaLink Card rebates at the
bus card validator machine
?
For this initial stage, only online top-up user is able to enjoy the benefit to redeem TCr in the
bus card validator machine
. This is only applicable if you perform an online top-up transaction over the website or through the HUGO Mobility App. By tapping the ManjaLink card on the
bus card validator machine
, the TCr will be transferred into your account while deducting the bus fare.
5. How do I know if my TCr has been credited, after a successful online or reload transaction?
You can log in to your ManjaLink account via the HUGO App or via the ManjaLink website and check your transaction history. It will take 3 hours up to the next day for your TCr to be reflected in your ManjaLink account transaction history. All pending TCr transfer will be credited on the following day. For immediate TCr transfer to your ManjaLink account, you can tap your ManjaLink card at any of the
ManjaLink self-service Terminal
s available at any ManjaLink Counters in Johor Bahru or in Singapore.
6. What will appear in the card validator machine if I managed to top-up my ManjaLink Card?
a. the total TCr or rebates will be added into the total current balance which will be reflected in the
bus card validator machine
screen. Please refer to the image below.

b. HUGO Mobility App will notify user when TCr transfer on bus was successful.
7. What if there is no response from the
bus card validator machine
after card tapping?
You have to make sure that your ManjaLink card is activated and that the card is not blacklisted or damaged. Please pay your bus fare in cash first and visit any of our ManjaLink Counters for any assistance.
8. Will this new feature slows down the transaction when I tap my ManjaLink Card on the
bus card validator machine
?
No additional time required as top-up and fare deduction is done at the same time. It will be as fast as the normal transaction time required to pay bus fare using ManjaLink.
9. Will the TCr follow the current exchange rate from the day I took my online top-up transaction?
Yes. It will follow the exchange rate from the day you have successfully topped up your ManjaLink Card.
10. What are the other disclaimers I need to know about TCr transfer in the bus?
  • Monthly rebate for online user will be credited at the same time after card tapping in the bus validator machine (allow 3 hours up to the following day to show the online transactions)
  • For non-online users, all monthly rebate can only be done at the
    ManjaLink self-service Terminal
    .
  • Due to unforeseen circumstances, online top-up TCr transfer will only be transferred in the
    bus card validator machine
    on the following day.
  • For immediate TCr transfer, ManjaLink Card holders are advised to tap their ManjaLink Card to any
    ManjaLink self-service Terminal
    s in Johor Bahru and Singapore.
